1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Green food coloring
Red food coloring
Black food coloring
White fondant (for the fangs)
Gold edible paint or gold dust (for earrings and decorative elements)
Black fondant or edible black icing (for the hair)
Edible glue or water (to stick fondant pieces)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream Butter and Sugar: In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Vanilla and Salt: Mix in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Incorporate Flour: Gradually add the flour, mixing until a dough forms.
Color the Dough: Add green food coloring to the dough and mix until evenly colored.
Shape Cookies: Roll out the dough and cut into face shapes. You can use a knife or a face-shaped cookie cutter.
Bake: Place the shaped cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool completely.
Decorate the Cookies:
Face Details: Use red food coloring and a small brush or toothpick to paint the eyes.
Hair: Roll out black fondant and cut into hair shapes. Attach it to the cookies using edible glue or a small amount of water.
Fangs: Shape small pieces of white fondant into fangs and attach them to the mouth area.
Earrings and Decoration: Use gold edible paint or dust to create earrings and other decorative elements.
Final Touches: Allow the decorations to set. You can add additional details with a fine-tipped edible marker or small brush for more intricate features.
